THE CHALLENGE
Manchester Unity, one of Australia's oldest health funds, felt it needed to enhance its communication with its members. The organisation invited ICON to recommend ways it could better engage with its members on a regular and ongoing basis.
THE SOLUTION
After reviewing the fund's existing communication channels, ICON developed a modern, fresh looking publication that engaged readers with a contemporary design and stimulating content.
Called "U", the publication was launched in tandem with a new corporate identity focusing on health and wellbeing-related topics with stories of relevance to all members of the family.
Must-read features are now combined with reader competitions, tips, guest columns and regular give-aways.
THE RESULTS
The new look magazine is written, designed and published by ICON on a seasonal basis.
The circulation of the magazine stands at 70,000 copies and the feedback from members across the country has been outstanding.
