Singapore (5th June 2009)- Singapore-based hospitality and property management firm Overseas Union Enterprise (OUE) has appointed Icon International Communications as its PR partner.

The PR agency is tasked with the launch of luxury retail mall Mandarin Gallery and Meritus Mandarin Singapore, both of which are undergoing a combined S$250 million facelift.

"This appointment comes at a time when OUE is aiming to align the two properties with the efforts of the Singapore Tourism Board to revitalise the iconic Orchard Road - through an unrivalled shopping experience in a refreshing retail environment with a strong line-up of international labels and lifestyle offerings" Clement Wang, executive vice president, Investor Relations, OUE, said.

This adds onto the PR agency's growing client base which includes online poker website Pokerstars, Asiasoft, and most recently, Adidas Sports Performance.

Other properties within the OUE Group include 50 Collyer Quay, a commercial development in the Marina Bay Integrated Resort area, which is due to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2010.
